Interview in Cantabria Negocios
This May, the medium specialized in economy and industry Cantabria Negocios dedicates a few pages to Binarybox Studios through an interview with its director Francisco Calatayud.
Throughout the interview, the news of the videogame development industry is analyzed, the experience developing the MUVA, the benefits of incorporating virtual reality into teleworking and a brief review of an upcoming project that has not yet been announced.
“It is essential to give the attention it deserves to the mood of the employees, so any creation that is a relief promises to be a good creation, or at least necessary.”
The chaos of teleworking is illustrated through Beagle Virtual Workplace, an online meeting platform using virtual reality that Binarybox Studios will soon make available to the public. According to Calatayud, “Now that teleworking is here to stay […] we have developed a virtual space in which people can connect, can get together through face-to-face avatars and can meet, take notes, watch presentations, see models 3D … in short, carry out all the tasks that can be posed in an office when presenting an idea or a project in a more face-to-face way “. This model can be a useful and lightweight alternative to traditional video calls, which in recent months have caused the “zoom fatigue” effect. At Binarybox Studios “it is essential to give the attention it deserves to the mood of the employees, so any creation that brings relief promises to be a good creation, or at least a necessary one.”
